There is an active thread dedicated to this topic (see link below). Might be more useful and a bit more of an organized way to post your question their so that everyone can see, respond, interact and get wider exposure of feedback on the same topic in one place for the benefit of everyone. I also encourage you to read through responses under that thread and see how common a 5-days stop is, and hence you can tell if it is a common or a rare issue for your case. Good luck and all respect. Finally, my 2 cents: yeah that's not very uncommon" (few others are seeing even longer stops, so it's common, you are not alone)

Sit back and enjoy the wait… day 5 here as well.
But check out this thread In the meantime. 5 days is nothing. https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...943453&page=46 FYI few years back I had a 2017 GLS 550 and it threw a rear main seal at 40k miles. Yes covered under warranty. But never MB again… that was enough for me. I mention this because as soon as I was aware of the QC wait times I almost thought about getting another GLS. But then I was like no I’ll wait. Have had a 2020 X5 since the GLS and not one issue. Very happy with it. Hang in there. It will be worth the wait. |

5 days is nothing, I was there for a month and someone are there over 40 days and counting. I know your pain, but nobody know how long it will be there. Be patient is the only way to get through this.

I was about 10 days in QC, passed through a few days ago now. Waiting on my PCD slot to open up in about 2 weeks, but the car is done and sitting about 20 miles from me right now (I live down the street from the factory). Painful, yes.
