Weird B&W distortion
With some songs, the sound out of B&W gets muddy and the bass gets really boosted, lasting for about 15 seconds. I was initially thinking it was due to the environment (driving under cables, next to towers, etc.) but I have noticed it is only with certain songs. Anyone else have this experience?
Seems to happen with hip-hop. |

I have a different, but somewhat similar issue with my B&W. The tonality doesn't change so much as the volume does. The system gets noticeably louder on occassion, for maybe 10-15 seconds. I have speed-sensitive volume set to low, though it doesn't have the option to turn it off.

I have this happen as well but only on satellite radio. Sounds almost as if treble is cut and the bass is pushed to the max and then fades back to normal. I assumed it was a siriusxm issue as I never have it happen on other sources.

Not with the standard coding options available in Bimmercode I'm afraid. Crazy, as every other car I've pretty much ever driven offers the ability to disable adaptive volume altogether.
