Seems Legit Garage E9x M3 One-Piece Driveshaft Install Help!
Hey! Has anyone here installed a one-piece driveshaft from Seems Legit Garage on their E9x M3? Currently installing mine and ran into some issues.
So first, the driveshaft is short about a half from the diff adapter to the dct adapter that the kit comes with. I've seen others on the forums say that they extended the driveshaft to the correct length, and I see the driveshaft has a slip joint on it; but how do I extend it? And second, the adapters and the diff don't line up at the same time. The bolt holes for the adapters are perfect to the driveshaft itself, and they fit perfectly onto the DCT and the diff, however, they dont fit at all when one side of the driveshaft is bolted in (for example if the DS is bolted to the diff adapter on the diff, the DS then won't line up to the dct adapter). Do I have to get the diff side adapter to rotate to line it up? Are the adapters supposed to go on a certain way? What am I doing wrong? Thanks! |

a manual drive shaft is a little less than an inch shorter than a dct shaft.
