My Problem...
... I went to Passport's web page and they have a Z4M Coupe for $48K. I figure that would only be another $40 a month even if I have to roll some into the new one. It has 78 miles...
... or a Monaco Blue Z4M Roadster for 2K more... MMmmmmmm ///M Goodness!!!! I guess when I go in for an oil change on Monday, I know what I'm talking to Peter about...

for a Z //M it has to be a roadter unless you ar thinking of tracking it, then the coupe it must be.
Nice! Welcome to the //M world Do It!

What I'm basically saying is that I can get a coupe for $10K under sticker BEFORE negotiation - and roughly $9K for the roadster.
I never thought a ///M could be that low and be new. It's enough to turn my head. Ase knows I've been thinking of an ///M for a bit - and since I don't think I can get a new M3....

I can't afford a the new /M also and cant see driving a V8 as a daily. btw initial overseas new M3 owners reviews are kinda lukewarm. Are you keeping your e90 as your daily?

Do it, Doug!!
I love the M coupe but I suspect the roadster will hold its value better, plus there are oh so many summers left

I absolutely love the M coupe and roadster. OTOH, if you're into your nav system and electronic whatnot, you should bear in mind the electronics on the M are dated compared to your E90. At least, they look dated to me. If I were to get one, I'd get it without nav.

All the questions...
BK - in cars, I'd want Bluetooth, but the rest is gravy. I can go without. Yes, I'm torn between hard or soft top. I know the clubs will fit better in the coupe, but I also know that one set will fit in the roadster. I am a ragtop guy at heart though... I will have to trade in the 335 - I can't do two car payments on my own... Two strikes and a foul tip - the lower (now 25, expected Z4 21) mpg with my lengthened commute (Germantown to Ft. Meade come January); and the fact they just announced the diesels are coming. I think the perfect car would be the 335d! The amount I'll be rolling on my trade; and the fact that on ZPOST there is talk about even better deals come November/December makes me hesitate as well.... Now, If I can get the roadster to under 50K.... and that might be doable in 3 weeks...

Hey Ase,
What do you average on mpg? You've got the same engine, I'd just be pulling less weight with it...

Doesn't shock me you can get a good deal on these cars. They really aren't selling well at all. They seem like great vehicles but its such a small demographic that buys the Z cars so it is hard to sell.

I don't know about you guys, but it seems like there are a lot of Z4s on the road, just not a lot of M's. Definitely rarer around here than the M3 (of course) or M5. Heck, I think I see more M6s on the road than M coupes or roadsters.

BK I agree- I my parking lot I walk by all three M3's (30/36/46), M5 (39/28), various 3/5/7 series, and various ages of Z's (including a Z3M coupe - that was an ugly trunk!). I see various 6's on the road, and an occasional M6, but never a Z4M.
The big test will be my golf clubs; it was the deal breaker for the MINI's.

The Mini can't fit a set of golf clubs? What?! That can't be right. Are you trying to put a whole golf cart back there?
