Impressive and kudos to Porsche for keeping the performance numbers of the vert close to the coupe in the 991 Turbo series. The Lambo here does have the crappy SMG style tranny though.

That, but isn't a loaded cab TTS like 215-240k lol which is dangerously closed to a Used early year Aventador which is a tad more of an attention getter.

Although I'm guessing someone really wouldn't cross shop the two, given that if you're in the market for a Cab TTS you likely have a desire to get some performance and keep a low profile lol

Yeah a 2012 ancient Aventa with a lot of miles maybe but these cars are in different segments for buyers. I like the comparison video but I don't think there are many cross shoppers between a new TT-S cab and a used batmobile LOL (as you mentioned).

I like the cab but wish it was a hard top (I know it adds to weight). I saw a white Turbo S cab with a red top--- I liked it and borrowed a 15 Turbo S cab for a few days; the performance was hard to discern from the coupe in the real world.

that is really awesome. I love how convertibles aren't sacrificing performance these days. The Z06 convertible is the same weight as the coupe. Crazy.

Mine was $219K+ but that's pretty well equipped. Got a very sweet deal so paid nowhere near. Totally different cars. Vic55 is right. No way you cross shop these and that Aventador trans sucks! I don't care how much they try to sell you on how the car "wouldn't be the same" if it was dual clutch. I'd leave even a later model Aventador standing still in my 675Lt and I passed my buddy at 180mph in his new SV. They are wild cars but big and bulky and shift slower than a grey-haired hag on Xanax. No doubt my TTS.2 would beat one as seen in the video. Imagine once it's tuned.

And NOTHING launches like a Porsche...quite literally.
