I finally did it!!!
Well, after 300,000kms on my 2011 e90 335i, it was time to put her down.
I picked up a 2016 340 Xi MSport. Will definitely miss my e90. Finally got it to a good spot but things were beginning to fail and was tired of "investing" in her any more. So logically, I just went out and cut a large cheque to feel better....lol As I start to get familiar with this newer model, I am looking for input on any worthy mods for this baby. Things I am thinking about initially include the following: Better springs Do I want to upgrade charge pipe? Audio Upgrade for this Harmon Kardon system How do I know if my car came with the upgraded M Performance Power kit? I have the upgraded exhaust with the carbon fibre tips. Ditching the Run Flats for Michelin PSS's Anything else? Really looking forward to seeing how this B58 engine works.

Nice and congrats!!
I added the Dinan springs and Michelin PSS to my 340ix and it's perfect now. You can tell if you have MPPSK if there's a sticker in your engine bay |

I agree, awesome looking and well deserved!
I've heard it's good to change the charge pipe, but I haven't done mine yet. Waiting to do it with a new intercooler |

D's Bimmer please share your comparison/feelings to your old e90, I'm very interested in that as I'm looking into change from e90 to F30 335i M Sport as well (I know yours is 340xi, but still) would be very interesting for many folks out there reading this forum. I know many e90 users are moving to F platform and this is a hot topic still

Look into the new Michelin PS4S. Slightly better grip and much better wet traction.

You will like B58 engine. It's a gem.
Does your vehicle have M Adaptive suspension? If not, then I suggest to explore coilovers - Bilstein or KW - to vastly improve suspension handling characteristics. |

I've looked into it, especially since it's only $200 now, but I don't think I'd opt for it since it changes Comfort to the factory Sport settings. I actually like Comfort for those rare times my family is in the car or when driving around in the city's bumpy roads.
