IPhone vent holder with charger for X7

Has anyone found a brand that works with the x7 vents.

Trying to declutter the dash area

The 2024 design has a small vent profile that also is a bit deep unlike standard vents

I bought a few off Amazon but they are not deep enough to lock behind the vent

Thanks

You’ll regret using the vents to hold phone.

I have a 3d printed car model specific holder that clicked into the upper and lower trim of the vents. it has a 17mm ball so use any phone holder with the same size ball mount will be fine. Unfortunately I brought it overseas and you might try if it's available in alibaba.

I don’t care for speech to text. That’s my thing. Use apps not on car play.

Long lights I will scroll a little as well

This doesn't currently apply to our X7, but in my X1 I primarily use the phone holder for logging and monitoring with my MHD app.

In the X7, I usually drive and my wife DJ's from the passenger seat and likes using her phone as the UI.

At first glance I'm not crazy about vent mount, but none of the ProClip mounts I've had looked very secure but worked flawlessly, nonetheless. So I figured their version was worth a try.

Because it does not work very well with wireless.
Wired car play that i had on the Audi was more reliable and stable (Especially if you had multiple phones plugged in such as mine and wife's and we feed different audio during long trips).
The second reason is that both CarPlay and AA are castrated by idiotic Apple/Google policies to lock important things out.
