Frozen pure grey repair (Edit after repair)

Well, I just drove my car too close to my gate (having it removed asap after this).
Do you think local repaint would be sufficient? Not sure what's lesser evil when repainting frozen colors? And I found myself not really caring too much that I just scratched my car, am I weird? 😅

Same color as mine! Well, accidents happen. Can’t beat yourself up over it. Would think you can just find a shop to sand and respray whole panel

To my knowledge in case of frozen paint you will need to repaint whole side of car. Painting just doors will be visible - different from other panels. Its not a fun...

Repaint is the only option. Touch ups look like hell and don’t blend like gloss clear coats.

Got my car back from repair and I think it turned out great, glad to have dealership with 30+ years experience.
One thing to add, the door panel was cracked so I have new one and that brought me to a question since I forgott to ask my service guy.
The door panels are plastic? I tried to knock on them and it definitely sounded like that lol..

The door skins are aluminum, based on the pic of the damage, looks like you might have cracked it right along the panel crease

So, curious...on the pic with the damage...what was actually peeling off?
