Just got done with 2 weeks in an X7 and, yeah, the A/C in the front is pretty weak in terms of **air flow**, but not in terms of temp. I found if I hit max a/c for 15 minutes it cools down plenty, but ... If you like air blowing on you it's kinda hard to find a good mix of temp and flow: there's generally too little air flow no matter how high you set the fan speed, but it gets pretty cold ... But then if you turn down the fan or temp, it gets warm again. So it's kinda frustrating, especially compared to my 2022 which is GREAT. It wouldn't be a deal killer for me, but it's a bit frustrating and the odd vents are annoying and suck. I wish BMW would stop changing things that work into things that suck which then get defended by morons with "you don't like change" when it's an obvioulsy enshitified UX. |

X5 owner here.
I had issues with the AC for about 2 years. The AC felt weak. Especially in the mild weather. It rook a while to realize, that the rear AC unit had a mind of its own. When the front wa cooling the cabin, the rear was blowing hot air, heating up the interior. The dealership was batzling it. Trying to find the cause. It turns out that the cabin filter was causing it. Not sure why or how. Since they changed it, tha AC has been perfect. Even in the hottest summer days. |

Hello everyone
For what is worth just a follow up, I had exactly the same problem in my X7.in the front passenger and driver area. There was just not enough air from the blower. I had it checked once in the dealer who told me exactly the same thing that this is the way that the X7 is designed finally, I brought it again once and I explained the problem to the workshop responsible the one that knows about technical things because it was driving me crazy he then assured me that indeed that’s a problem on the X7 and I left the car in the dealer and he actually replaced the motor.now indeed the it blows a lot of air in the front area as it is supposed to do. I’m now happy again with this. |
