I honestly think it looks great in white with the shadowline trim. Nice to slowly start seeing footage of the different colors floating around....

The cars body does not “show out” with subdued paint offerings… This truck will probably need to be offered at some wild ///M in order to make it attractive…

Thanks for sharing. I don't think XM will be added to my shopping list regardless of price, incentives, or color palette.

That's what I was hoping for. Doesn't look like it.

This XM was at my dealer getting PDI'd.

Beat me to it. The IOMG version from the other thread is a great example. This thing needs M colors for sure

The colour is blank, but the car itself is beautiful.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but Christ, I just can’t imagine how anyone finds this contraption even remotely attractive. Even the badge placement is out of place. And then to add an M badge to it for an extra kick to the nuts.

it’s just weird seeing the XM logo 1/3 over from the driver side and two BMW logos in the top corners of the tailgate’s glass. Not sure I could ever get used to it.

I find nothing attractive about this design. In this color combo, every perspective looks really unbalanced, as the black trim makes the white look like Herkel (sp?) wearing high-water pants. This is particularly true with respect to the wheel wells, but is also the case for both front and back. The light grey piece in the front makes it look like a tongue hanging out.

In addition, I really don’t like the hood lines in the lateral view. I’ve seen this design element in other BMWs, and (to me) it makes the front of the car look like it has a really bad toupee, lol.

I saw the monochromatic version of one of these, and I think it looks better, but in the sense of “putting lipstick on a pig”. Although dropping the ride height would likely also help, the wheel wells are so big they require enormous wheels/tires to fill them properly.

The entire design of the car, IMO, screams excess.

I just can’t get into the split headlight thing. I was at my dealer today to have an oil change and over an hour there, I repeatedly looked at a new 7 series they had in the showroom …..every time my immediate impression was bad, over and over. The same goes for the XM. I have yet to see it in person, but I just don’t think being closer to it will make it better looking.
