Price drop is the best thing to happen to these cars. Now there are more heavily modified e9x rolling around. I imagine when the cars where 50k all u had was a bunch of guys afraid to do anything that would void thier warranty, and just posted up threads on how awesome thier blacked out kidney grills are.

even with dropping prices there are still countless threads of near stock cars with fake wheels. I bet in a few years there will be tons of great builds popping up all over the forum.

You are spot on, the very reason I rarely post here, I would also add that BMW's are fairly common cars in the "entry level/higher end" middle class playground, more so than their respective competitors (don't quote me on that , it does make Audi or Benz look more attractive though, ..sadly.

Age is not a factor here, really, it's just the fact that there are a great deal of imbeciles (age does not discriminate) buying these end of life e90's & soon to be e92's because of the depreciation.

I still personally prefer the e90's & e92's over the F30's but could do without all the hate, especially over a forum/keyboard.

i dont think age has anything to do with it at all. just ppl being haters. some of us had to save for 15 months during a deployment to iraq at the age of 18 to buy their 335 but yeah...i get what you are trying to get at. haters gonna hate...
