Mobius I see you're in Canada, but darkest legal tint here is ~35% AFAIK. To me its not particularly dark with a black interior. I think its still a classy look. A shade or two darker gets more sporty, but the tint also seems more obvious.
88% sounds too light IMO. It may offer you some UV protection but cosmetically it will be barely noticeable, and it won't offer you much privacy. |

Thanks dcq for the advice. Will need to think about it. I really like to be able to see inside my car, and I wish I could have the same tint all around, and not having different tint for different window. And since in Canada for the front window you have to go with 88%, it would mean going with it all around, and like you said it would probably not be even noticeable. If I could I would go with 50% all around by that would be legal.
So I have to decide : 1) 88% all around or 2) 88% for front and 50% for the rest. I don't know why I don't like the look of different tint for different window. |
