X5 35d strong diesel exhause smell in cabin
Have any other X5 diesel owners experienced this? I have recently noticed on my 2011 X5 35d the strong odor of diesel exhaust in the cabin immediately after starting the engine cold. The odor slowly dissipates as I drive. I do not notice it after starting the engine warm. It seems to have gotten worse as the outside temperatures drop. I purchased this vehicle new in 2010 and only noticed this recently. I had the vehicle in for service after the check engine light came on. SA said there was a leak in a vacuum hose, which they fixed. Guess I should get it back to the service department before the warranty expires.
