Love the car.
Hate the wheel well cut out plastic pieces. Why did they decide to make that separate ? Notice how the fenders are metal and then right when it comes to the rim there is a line and thats probably plastic. Thats a first. and a dumb imo.

That’s been going on at multiple car makers for the better part of a decade no? Not unique to this vehicle but I hear you

Thanks,
Well, none of my current cars have that.
And that alone, would differ me from buying this vehicle.
I hope they change it soon, as I will be in the market soon, my escalade is getting boring.

It looks great aside from that.

i hear ya. maybe you'll come around to it. ive seen it used to differentiate different trim levels on some vehicles we've owned so have gotten used to it.

That is a beautiful garage that appears you have a drainage to wash the cars?

Thanks! Yes, the garage was a major selling point for the house. We definitely need the drainage in the winter. Also loving the X7!

We are first time BMW owners. Been buying Mercedes since 2012 and Lexus before that. Now we own a X7 50i and are very impressed so far.

BTW, I couldn't find a way to attach a photo from my MacBook. The "Insert image" icon wants a URL.

Can someone please explain how it's done in Bimmerpost?

On the MBWorld forum you would click the same icon and simply drag your pics onto a separate page to add them.

Adding our X7 photos from the iPhone app was straightforward. I still could use some help on adding photos from the website.

Love those rims, which are not available in Canada.

Thanks. It seems as though nearly every BMW dealer in the United States received an X7 with those wheels. Odd that they would not offer them in Canada.

X7 at the motor show

Spotted one in black at the motor show in Bangkok. The only version we will get is the M50D. Lovely colour and now I know what everyone means when they say you have to see it in person....

Overall spec is pretty good but I'm not sure about the runflats. Worried it will compromise the ride quality.

The wife's new ride. i'm glad we waited to get a 3-row SUV until BMW was ready to put one on the market. They really got this one right.

Any of you find that the non-M version front end looks nicer then the M-Sport?

I can see how some would prefer it. Luxury look with more chrome. Me, I prefer the more athletic, aggressive sport nose.

The standard front facia is attractive but if I were to order a new X7 I would probably opt for the M-sport package in Mineral White. I've only seen it in pictures but it looks great. The black trim against white works so well.

BTW, our Arctic Grey X7 is the first non-white car we've purchased since 2006. Our family and friends love this car and the exterior color but were surprised it wasn't white. I like the look (after all I bought it) but I'm still getting use to seeing a darker car in my garage.
