Emailed my local charter, and they said there's no such thing. I guess its only for the US? I'm in Canada.

Judging by the terms on the form, may not be available for Canada. I'd still call if I was you.

I looked up BMW club Canada, which specifically stated no after-the-fact discounts. Oh well, thanks anyways.

LOL. Yeah... we'll see how the GLS turns out, but I'm expecting interest and demand to be very high when Mercedes releases the GLS

Great deal especially since the X7 is new. If i needed a car right now i would have took that deal. Im eventually hoping to get better than that by the time the wifes xc90 goes back in a few months. She is fine until that lease is up

Will wait to see what april lease deals there are. Have until September before wifes lease goes back
Metal man if you have the ability to hold off, you might want to wait for a 2020 model like me. Various advantages. MY2020 starts in August.
How do we know when the new MY2020 will be available? My CA said the X7 MY2020 will be towards the end of the year. Thank you.

Has not been officially announced. To my knowledge, the only indicator so far is that new interior leathers and trims have been announced for a SOP of 8/19. See this thread:
https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1591750

As this lines up with a normal timeframe for starting a MY, the assumption for now is MY2020 starts 8/19. Might be a tad early, but it would be a little strange for BMW to release new options with 1 month left in a model year, before the new one comes out.

As always, time will tell.

Just making sure all current BMW owners know about the $1250 BMW loyalty credit, if they buy an X7.

https://www.bmwusa.com/loyalty/x7-2019.html

Must finance through BMWFS. Can be combined with USAA bonus rebate and BMWCCA bonus rebate. All are additional bonus credits after any and all discounts and final price agreements you negotiate with your BMWUSA dealer.

i love my 7 series but can't wait for the lease to be over as my wife suckered me into letting her get a 640 GT instead of an suv with the 3 kids we have! after seeing the GLS yesterday, i think it is a tough call between the 2 as that gls is hot too. My lease is up in october, so it may be a situation where by then the x7 will be more negotiable and i can pick up a 50i that has outstayed it's welcome on the showroom floor.

I would think by October you'll find better deals on the X7 compared to the GLS which would just be showing up on dealer lots. That said, there are deals to be had on the X7 right now if you find the right dealer. Of course by this fall those deals will be even better.

Hey everybody, wondering if I could get some insight.

Looking into an X7, I configured one with a sticker of $90,250. I know with BMW's prior I've gotten north of 10% off of MSRP but I haven't seen many X7 buyers on the forum show actual OOTD pricing for purchase or finance and with what dealership they worked with to get such deal.

I also have a 2007 GL450 with 80,000 miles on it and as much as I love it it's been 13 years since I've taken delivery and by far the oldest car I've ever owned. I would likely trade it in toward the X7 and KBB is suggesting $7-11k guess depends on stroke of luck or negotiation.

Anyways I am not sure what I should expect when walking into my dealership and at what price I should pull the trigger, or wait and take delivery of a 2020 if the first year X7's are having any issues out there?

Any help is appreciated. Looking forward to joining the X7 crew!

In my experience, the dealer you are standing in tends to be the least negotiable, but there are exceptions. Volume dealers will tend to be the most aggressive as are ones that you are not standing in. If you want the best price, I would suggest writing down your build code and submitting an online request and let the online sales teams have at it. These guys generally know you are price shopping. The interested parties will become clear to you very soon. The phony players will say something like, "Hey, we can do less than anyone, come in to our dealership and lets get a deal done".

If you really only want to buy from your local dealer, the cut to the chase, show them your build code and just tell them what you want. I think getting 5% off (before the loyalty and club incentives) would be a reasonably good deal. Just tell them that you just aren't motivated to buy a 2019 for less than X% off. (some number 2.5% or higher). Anything more, and you'll just put it off to look at 2020's. They don't want you to wait as the expected return for them is pretty poor. A bird in the hand...

Anyway, a few weeks ago, my dealer said nothing but MSRP from us - no discounts on X7. I said, eh. I'd like 5%, but I absolutely have to have 2.5% or I'm just not buying. I'm a friend of the salesman and he didn't seem very confident. They took my offer. Maybe I could have gotten more, but 3 weeks ago, I was happy with 2.5%.

Moral: They won't "offer" you squat. If they do, then push more. Come up with a number that is your trigger and roll with it - draw a line. I think it would be tough to find much more than 5% right now, but you might have a better discount on in stock units, especially if it's an 50i. They are a little slower to move around here.

I've also had great deals offered to me by leasing companies. Their overhead is low and they are also volume buyers. Get a good price from them and then take it to the dealer to trade in your MB. If you have time, I would suggest waiting a couple of months to get a better deal.

It's May now, There's still no discount around 6K or 5K off. Does anyone know which dealer running their special discount for X7 50I?

I guess it depends on the dealer. I got 5K off MSRP and they gave an additional 3K on my MB GLS 550 trade. So there are still 'Dealers' out there. Just make them an offer of 5K off MSRP. If they say no way, say goodbye and tell them you're off to the next dealer.
