Niiice!

I love that interior!

Give me the bench seat and the matching light headliner instead and we got a winner!

Stunning. I love the new designs. It pays homage to history but is wicked chiseled! Love it!

Absolutely gorgeous! 🤩 now THIS is an actual "full" leather compared to what you get on the X5/X6.

EDIT: that interior trim is so effing ugly.

"Diamond plate" trim???? It's a BMW! ...expensive one at that. This isn't a fire truck.

Btw m, I'm a professional firefighter. I'd hate to have my bimmer reminded me of work. I love my job, but off duty means OFF DUTY!

I actually like it. A lot.

I'm just not sure I would combine it with that exterior color but on a black (and especially, white) exterior, this trim is the best match on a sporty version.

It might not look as classy as piano or the curly wood-styles, but IMO, they better fit on the luxury-trim - not the M.

This trim is still a wood-trim - just with metal inserts.

That's not an attractive color.

And the interior trim is yawn.

That is the ugliest color ever. Dealer tried to talk me into a launch edition M5 that looked like that color in the frozen finish. I'm surprised it doesn't have gold wheels.

Yup, there's the black wood trim with aluminum inserts again. Still not sure what I think about it. Those pictures make it look more prominent again, not as muted or subdued as other recent pictures and the online configurator make it look.

I still want to see more pics of that interior trim.

I think it has a lot to do with the ambient light.

If the sun or in this case, spot-lights are shining directly on it, it looks lighter and a bit washed out. however, if it's not in direct light, it looks darker and more prominent.

I like it because it provides a contrast to the light interior but the metal inserts blend well with the other interior accents (i.e. speaker covers of the B&W).

As I said, I probably would not pick this trim on a luxury line equipped vehicle but a prominent wood-trim on an M-line would not be the perfect fit, either. This trim as well as Carbon, Aluminum and to some extend Piano (everything with an even pattern) look more sporty.

Diamond plate and quilted leather ... I guess they think the target buyers have never seen diamond plate in an industrial setting.

Like the color though!

Seems to me that they're using the trim similar to how you might use wallpaper on an accent wall, as opposed to just squeezing in some material we're familiar with like wood or piano black or whatever. I think it's done tastefully and doesn't look too busy, and it doesn't look like industrial diamond plating to my eye.

At first glance, I like it.

bmw could really step up the configurator. if not in the 360 view, anywhere really.

really need a nice real world representation of their trims on their site
