Hi guys,

here is my first rear render of the upcoming 2022 X8 / XM. The car features a 4.4L V8 with additional eletric assistance. We are talking about over 800 hp.

What do you think about the design?

Rear looks sharp, not a fan of the Hyundai Santa Fe front though.

Beautiful. I for one, unlike many on the forum, am not averse to progressive designs within reason. I'm very interested based on these renders to see what the actual product looks like. Admittedly, like many here, I thought the design of the new M3/M4 were too radical (although they have grown on me a bit).

"A" for effort to OP. This looks pretty close to the camo pics floating around the interwebs this week.

Must give a "F" for an EPIC fail to BMW design. It just looks like they're trying too hard to be different.

This confirms my theory of designers being paid by the number of pointy edges they can cram in a single design..

Bottom half of rear end looks bonkers..

Overall I like it, but the front grill might be wrong. You need to make it 10times bigger to fit current bmw design.

From these renderings, I like it. Let's hope the real thing looks this good. I hope they keep a grille like this on it and don't put a larger grille on it.

Not a fan of the headlights and also not sure how I feel about the stacked exhaust but otherwise I think it looks good.

Apart from the stacked exhaust arrangement the rear appears like a F20 on steroids with a portion of Mini hatch. Not (yet) digging the taillight design. The front face is not a nay per se but it needs to grow. Not sure about the headlight separation.
