Good to know. However, can a dealership refuse to offer customer the incentives provided by BMWUSA?

I don't see why they would but that's the impression that I've gotten so far.

I don’t see how they could. Especially if your agreement clearly states pre-incentive.

In this case I don’t think the dealer is refusing the incentives, I think they are pocketing them.

Yes, that's a much more accurate description on what they are trying to do.

They want to pocket the incentives if I opt for them, which is messed up because they were willing to give me the $5k discount without incentives anyway, so I really don't understand this.

6.7% on the 40i, not bad. Is this pre-incentive?

This is Costco price. Dealer made mistake and told me 2022 model is eligible, but it turned out that's not. But they still honored the price based on 2021 model price.
What incentive are you referring to? Financing incentive? Stackable on top of Costco price? This is my first bmw so..

Hi guys, getting 4.5% off MSRP nearly fully loaded 22 X7M50. Is that a good price? Should I wait for facelift.

Finance 80k, trade in 28k, 1.9%, 1400/month 60 mo

Same trade in, 12k miles/yr, 865/mo, residual $58341.

Would you suggest finance or lease. Anyone who is good at numbers, will appreciate input.

What is acquisition and closing fee…. That is dealer padding.

That is not a bad discount in today’s market.

Penfed/USAA: $3250 (cannot use BMWFS) or $500 (if using BMWFS) through 1/03/2022
College Grad Offer: $1,000 (must use BMWFS) through 1/03/2022
BMW Loyalty Lease/APR Credit: $750 through 8/31/2022

Obviously I did not mention OL codes as these are not model specific.

That's a bit less than 4% pre-incentive. Not horrible in today's market. I can't comment on the wheel and tire, but that seems very high considering you can buy a new set of rims and tires for around $3k. That's almost two sets of 4 tires over the 5 years.

I will say this again for everyone on here, if you are planning to purchase the X7 why are you not joining PenFed today and starting the 60 day clock for the $3250 off?

So I'm a PenFed member. I should just ask PenFed to finance instead of BMWFS? In that case I may lose loyalty credit but PenFed will credit $3250 on top of dealer discount ? Correct

You need to generate a code. Link here: https://penfed.truecar.com/oem/landing/bmw/

You can get one code per year.

It doesn't matter who you finance through (as long as not BMWFS). PenFed does have 1.99% for 60 months though right now: https://www.penfed.org/auto/rates

Edit to generate the code at the above link click where it says "sign in to get your offer code" at the top

Can that offer be stacked on dealer discount?

This is incentive money paid by BMW USA to the dealer, so is on top of the dealer discount. In your case, as the $3250 is better than $750 + $500, it would replace the loyalty credit, since the loyalty credit requires financing through BMWFS.

Thanks for the info.
I just opened a PenFed account.
Meantime, dealer and I had an agreement on selling price. I also submitted loan application with them.

Do I still have chance to get $3250?

There is a 60 day waiting period before you can generate the penfed code.
