22 X3MC Pictures
After driving the 22 X3MC from San Francisco home to LA, I can say this. In comparison to my 2020 X3M and 2021 X3MC with Michelins, it is no doubt more refined and not as harsh/bumpy per my wife and this is with the Continentals on. I am putting my Michelins on Tuesday along with all my other stuff.
Here are a few pics I took after having it washed today. |

I was always super torn between this beautiful color and Toronto Red, I went with TR on my order.... hope no regrets lol.
Looks amazing after a good wash. On your Michelin did you do the usual tire swap, 265 to the front and 295 to the rear? Curious what tires my car will come with.... slated for week 28 production. |

My Car came with the Continentals, I have a set of stock size 255/265 Michelin Pilot Sports and I have 12mm Future classic spacers all the way around. I tried to find the PS5's but no luck. You can't go wrong with Toronto Red! I live in LA and see everything. I have yet to see a TR X3M rolling around. |

I've only ever seen one TR and it was an X5M around here, hopefully, I'll be the first one locally haha. On the topic of MY2023, I am curious if mine will be a 2022 or 23. Currently slated for week 28 production per my CA. |

M3Pilot09 Glad you all got home safely. Next time you're out this way I hope I can see the car in person.

M3Pilot09 Out of curiosity, did you upgrade to a wider size on the PS4S on the OEM rims?

I did 12mm Future Classic Spacers. There is a noticeable difference in the ride quality and handling when you switch to the Michelins. Unfortunately, all 3 of my X3M's have come with the Conti's and I replace them every time. |

- Highway ride is firm, but totally fine and confidence inspiring, sporty like I'd want it - Slower driving is where I notice some odd issues, seems like the tiny imperfections in the road surface are somehow amplified in sound, harshness, and wheel feedback (the weird thing is I don't notice this 'amplification' with the larger imperfections)... not sure if it's car or tire related -- it's not severe enough to make me regret my purchase as this will mostly be for highway drives. Love everything else about the car, it's a beast and a ton of fun already. Don't love the idea of throwing out brand new tires, so I'll probably wait until they wear down to replace them with the Michelins. BTW, we have twin cars |
