Let's see.. interior is a disaster, front end a disaster, entire exterior a disaster. But I bet she drives real nice!

I'll be honest, after seeing the 2023 X7 in white, I thought it looked horrible.

I now, after seeing it in darker colors (black, Tanzanite, Marina Bay), think it looks pretty cool.

The ID8 will kill it for a lot of people. But on a boat-sized SUV like this, I don't mind the ID8 and super-minimalistic center console area. Incredibly spacious.

Personally I think darker colors suit it best as well white I'd probably the worst I think marina may be too bright for it tanzanite or azurite would look amazing on it

It's growing on me, but only in darker colors. Back actually looks more aggressive with the minor taillight changes.

On the fence about getting a current gen used model or splurge on the LCI. ID8 looks cool (getting it in my M50 on order) but not so sure I like the tacky LEDs with the X7 logo in front of the passenger. Anyone know if just that part can be turned completely off?

You can probably code it out if not it's probably one connector behind wood trim you can undo I think carbon black is the best

Agree, can't unsee Hyundai Sanata Fe when I see it. Also not a fan of the ambient light graphics, look a bit cheesy, would have preferred a simple strip of lighting.

Agreed, I like the crystal headlights and all which give it an elegance in quality but it should have been 2 headlights not 4. They could have easily put the crystal tech in a singular headlight.

Hadn't thought of the Hyundai Santa Fe, but certainly another Hyundai model or two along with the Nissan Rogue. Chevrolet has been doing this as well. Surprised that BMW is chasing other manufacturers' designs rather than being original.

The appearance of ID.8 notwithstanding, there are some reviews out there about its lagginess and relatively unintuitive menu layout. For me, the integration of climate controls with fewer hard buttons is a deal killer. Volkswagen is taking all kinds of heat for that in the new Golf/GTI. Not saying ID.8 isn't better than VW, but why cheapen the controls on an $85k+ vehicle?

My dealers first two arrived yesterday as well. An M60 and a base 40.

I think they look great in person, especially the M sport. The iD8 screen also flows much better than it does in the iX.

Definitely does IX was just a Guinea pig for it flies a lot more better and refined. Though I wish Bmw would out screens or tablets in for people in the back to control certain elements like the 7 series another other competitors

A customer came in to see bc she complained of lag and wanted to cancel her IX order there's no lag made a second to pull up certain screens that have more things to feature but it's not as bad as people make it seem to be
