Any new Ceramic Coatings that came out recently?

Hi everyone,

Every year for fun i pulish my car and apply a different coating every time. I think at this point i tried everything from bug brands and was wondering if anything new came out in 2022? Any big names or new companies released some cool interesting products this year? So far the worst ceramic coating was Ceramic Pro and the best was Gyeon

Hello, I still swear by Gtechniq ceramic coatings very good and easy to work with, just ordered my first Matte paint car so it will be that and I am very interested in the BMW matte wax

I just tried Diamond ProTech 36 (The Rag Company) and got ok result... water is beading but is not as slick like I thought. Yes, I clay, cut, & polished my M4 before applying ProTech. ProTech requires 15min to cure but I used a little heat lamp to speed the process and shorten the time. haha

Comparing to AvalonKing (which I have on Merc ML350 and NSX), I think AvalonKing produce better result.

We’ve passed the innovation phase and ascended to the gimmick phase in coatings. Most are so good there’s nothing left to improve (so gimmicks like graphene are introduced). I still prefer Gtechniq coatings with the newest Carpro CQuartz a close second. Call me old school.

Personally I’ve found chemical guys carbon force to be night/day better than CQuartz and have done 2 of my vehicles with it now and I’m never going back. It’s just so much more durable and effective. 1 coat of it beat 2+top coat of CQ and it’s still about as good as the day I put it on one year later.

+1 on the Gtechniq products. After all these years CSL + EXOv4 + C2V3 is a killer combination. I know there are other solid products on the market but this is it for me. Had the GT4 coated with this combo back in January and the CTR will receive the same treatment in the coming weeks.
