Unlit area between Low and High beams? LCI

Is it normal that the LCI has a dark area between Low and High beams?

I noticed it few weeks ago and I really hope it's just me having low/high beams transition adjusted wrongly from manufacture.

Being used to Audi's superb Matrix head lights and this was bit shock seeing this...

Yeah it sucks big time. I don't think there is any adjustment that can be made. I think it's the way the leds are laid out on the board. I have to take deep breaths and calm myself at being pissed to whatever lighting engineer thought that shit was ok.

Common complaint and lots of threads on the LCI headlight design and inferior performance. A huge step down from the original X7 Laser Lights.

Told the service to adjust mine so there's no gap. I'm curious if they did that, will give it a try during this weekend.

Does anyone know whether the headlight aim can be adjusted laterally? I know there is a vertical aim screw.
