I looked at this while picking up my i5. I could not get into the driver’s seat or the passenger seat. How about adding running boards for the vertically challenged.

RR look amazing but as a friend that owned many said “you always buy them in pairs. One to drive, one to get all the spare parts you need to find the other one.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We can joke about how bad reliability is with the Germans but you don’t know garbage reliability until you own/buy a Range Rover.

The engine and transmission options and tuning is simply the best in this class. RR’s powertrain is one class below.
RR’s “offroad” capability is just a joke. Just look at that large wheel, it won’t survive even the first rock. It’s an illusion RR created for their owners that their soccer mom automobile is also an offroad beast.
I drove a Range Rover Sport on the beach in Corolla doing nothing other than using it’s in built controls. There is no way any BMW makes it there…I have used Cayenne, RRS and X5 in snow conditions. Again, RR’s did the best in handling deep snow…not sure what they do differently, but off road they are better than other luxury brands. May be Jeep Wrangler or something similar is better. Credit where credit is due…

Unless JD Power can report their response rate by owners it is basically not the most reliable, also they don’t weigh the type of issues reported. There are all sorts of rankings. For instance, if RR were so unreliable, why would they have higher owner satisfaction than BMW? https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...rands?slide=11

Here Porsche is #1 and LR is #3, well ahead of BMW.

BMW X7 power trains are superior to Range Rover and so are the driving dynamics on the road.
