E30 mix
Hello all, I was wondering if running E30 mix (about 4.5 gallons E85 and the rest 93) would be okay to run on my car? I have a 2023 m340 with an AA downpipe everything else is stock.

Be thankful you have access to 93 and are not stuck with West Coast 91 crap gas |

I think without a tune the car can take up to 25 percent Ethanol “safely” or within manufacture specs for the stock tune, without a tune it would not be beneficial without a tune like what was mentioned above. I’ve seen calculators online that let you mix ethanol with gas to get a higher octane rating thru mixing them.

Actually, you can run a few gallons of e85 (E20 mix) to clean up timing. Just because one is on a stock tune, doesn’t mean they don’t suffer from timing corrections in certain conditions. For the guys stuck with 91, they definitely can benefit.

I dyno'd the car on E20 and made 408whp/459tq. I absolutely think its beneficial to run an E blend on a stock tune. |
