YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR X-CV 21 Tires

Does anyone has experience with YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR X-CV tires? Looking for a non-run flat option for 21" wheels and these seem to have great reviews on tire rack at a good price. Just want to know if anyone has put these on their X7 and what their experience been? Specifically, I want to minimize road noise from tires and make the ride even more comfortable.

Outstanding!! really guiet. I have the 22 inch on front and Conti on back staggered..They dont make the geolander in 315/35/22 so I had to compromise but def felt and heard a difference when I put the Geolander on the front.

Fantastic to hear! I assume it is also more comfortable over bumps?

But because they handle well in all situations, they have a little more resistance.. MPG suffer maybe -1..But if you keep in eco pro and pay attention to the MPG gauge, you will be ok.

Just had the tires put on. I can finally drive my X7 now.

Bought the certificate for 260. However, they took the other old 3 for $72 credit. Better than nothing. With another Costco prorated refund to me ($224), ended up paying $1403 total.

Well fingers crossed I don't need another round in a year.

what was your previous tire? and how have the Geolanders been relatively in road noise, and comfort over small bumps?

It was Bridgestone Alenza.
The Geolanders are little bit harder I think. I haven’t encountered any significant noise yet. The comfort is very much the same.

The Alenzas are runflat so I find it hard to imagine that the Geloanders would be harder. They also should be noticeably more comfortable over bumps because of being non-RF. Are you sure tire pressures are not set too high?

Thank you for this info! I'll be replacing the performance summer on my 2025. To be clear -- there are not a lot of options for 21 inch all season run flat?

Thnx, Jim

Stupid question for the day -- My 2025 X5 x40i is shiping with 21 inch staggered. Summer - which I am selling. I need all season -- Can I buy 4 YOKOHAMA Size: 275/40R21 107W XL - OR - will these wheel only accept the staggered set up?

I told you it was a stupid question

What rim do you have? I am not aware of BMW offering 21” staggered wheels as a factory option. Only 22 and 23 wheels are staggered in the US

Ah. I missed the X5 part of your post. Being the G07 forum, I thought we are talking about an X7. Please us know your review of the tires once you installed them

He was talking about X5 which has staggered option for 21".

All X7 21" are square setups.

Curious did you cross shop with the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ or Hankook Ion Evo AS SUV?

I need new tires soon, and am considering all 3 of these as well as the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4.
