Definitely a good decision! It’s a completely different kettle of fish going from an f15 X5 to the X7. In reality there is nowhere to go from the 50d unless you want less power or a change to petrol.
Half of me thinks I should have gone for the 50i, my neighbour has got a Maserati Levante and it sounds unreal, that’s the only thing missing from my x7, the noise.

What’s your opinion on the carbon black? Took me around 6 months to find a sapphire black with the right spec.

Carbon Black is a great colour in different lights however its a pig to keep clean and does show up the swirl marks over time. I went for Phytonic Blue on the X7 which is a much lighter blue but still vibrant in the sun with easier maintenance. I did go for a ceramic coating which has been great protection so far. Enjoy the new ride.

My favorite part about Tanzanite Blue II is the velvety look at certain angles (second picture).

Does anyone have a photo of the standard 2024 or 2025 BMW X7 floor mat and cargo mat? Do you recommend buying an aftermarket (Tuxmat, Weathertech etc)?

Yep, that's Tanzanite Blue doing its thing in mid-day sunlight! And, for the times that I wish to have gone with Carbon Black (which I almost went with) there's the sunset .... (second picture is wallpaper-worthy with some cropping) ...
