I think 10.5" up front with et35 would be an issue clearing brake calipers or with strut. That moves the wheel almost 16mm closer to the strut.

I went with 10.5" all around with et20. Looks pretty flush. Tires are 285/40 Michelins. Others have gone et15 all around but i did not want to get too aggressive. No problems rubbing or turning. BC Forged HCS21S with Burnt Titanium exposed hardware. Next tire setup will probably be 285/35 or 295/35

For what it's worth, Vossen and RG Sport Shop (amazing vendor from the forum) both confirmed that 10.5 on all 4 corners with et35 was a safe path forward.

RG Sport does know his stuff. Does Vossen not make another offset to push the wheels a bit further out for a more flush look? Is that not something you particularly care for?

+35 is a standard size so its pretty easy to grab these ones in hyper silver or black at 15% or so off MSRP. When you go to +31 (RG Sport recommendation), then you are into "custom" wheel territory and the price goes up quite a bit (you also get access to custom colors at that point which is honestly enticing). Best pricing I could find was:

+35 = $2800 shipped
+31 = $3500 shipped

We'll see what black friday deals Vossen has then I'm pulling the trigger on something, in the meantime, fully focused on upgrading to 5 bay garage to make room for new toys

That is quite a jump in price for 6mm difference in offset. The EH186 from BC is similar to the Vossen but msrp is 4500 shipped. You do get to choose any offset and a wide choice of colors. They can even machine the spokes but that is extra as well. They are also fully forged.

I would also put my $$$ towards a larger garage....with biometric access so I can have my own space...lol

Now this is enticing... especially being in RI with absolutely horrendous roads... these guys have a solid reputation?

BC Forged is very well known. There are only a few factories out there in China or Taiwan that make decent forged wheels. You want to ensure that the blanks are load rated at 900+KG for the X7. You get the same from ORTforged.com (My prefered wheel vendor), with similar 50% off wheel warranty as APEX, but like BC, everything can be customized and under $4k, delivered.

2-3piece and even beadlock are options, but I doubt we'll see those on X7s. Andrew, the owner is a good friend and super helpful with fitment.

Meh…. Why not spend a few extra bucks on something manufactured here in the USA, like Vossen?

Looks like these BC guys are just copying existing wheel styles from well established manufacturers.

All I can say is that my Vossen HF5s held up perfectly to Chicago’s dogshit roads, which arguably are worse than RI.

Just my 2 cents.

Vossen Forged are awesome just not a few bucks more, more like 2-3x. If you are happy with hybrid/rotary forged wheels, that's cool. I prefer fully forged wheels at the Vossen HF price point.

I've had BC forged on my last 3 vehicles. Before that i had Work wheels on 2 others. I had Vossen once and sold them after a year. One of the spokes got a hair-line crack but Vossen was not hard to deal with and i was sent another. It was the CV5 which was a cast wheel. I am sure the hybrid-forged hold up much better.

BC forged is out of Taiwan from what i understand.

Lol, that's a good way to stress test the HF wheels! I got some thinking to do....

Pretty hard to argue with this logic, especially if the brand is reputable, which it very much appears to be.

Yup, ORT uses 3 different manufacturers depending on application. Taiwan puts out very good product. Have to be really careful who you partner with on a Chinese wheel

Yepp, it's Taiwan alright. Apparently "BC" is the company name over there. The more you know!
