Aftermarket DHP

I have a 2022 X7 40i which when I bought it DHP/IAS wasn't available...

Has anyone tried to add the active anti-roll system aftermarket?

The parts seem to be available (37106897271, Active Stabilizer Front, etc) but I'm not sure if it would work, if it would require coding, or if the anti-roll bars can work without IAS/etc. Would love to hear if anyone has attempted this. Thanks!

I highly doubt anyone has attempted.

I know some shops offer an aftermarket DHP here in Europe, though they doesn't reveal full parts list required for job to be done. What I've been told, besides the actuator itself you'd need a new 105mh battery, some wiring and coding. The price is about $4k

People have some ideas… adding rear wheel steering, adaptive camera & navigation suspension adjustment, anti-roll bars seems like an extensive surgery during which you pass several points of no return and your warranty out the window.

Would not do after market. These cars have many sophisticated electronic systems. Doubt an after market shop would be able to replicate it.
I am in the process of ordering an X7 with DHP.
Better to sell and but one with DHP.

A aftermarket DHP is sooo advanced and complicated I can’t imagine any shop even attempting it unless it is a salvaged vehicle with a R title.
If the stars would align and get it to work after a ridiculous amount of money, your resale value is gone as well as your warranty and any BMW service center ever touching it even on your dime.

honestly, with the amount of retrofitting you would need to do, it would be better to sell the current car and buy one with DHP.

assuming you managed to source all the parts-
-IAS 2-3K of parts
-ARS 2-3K of parts
custom wiring harnesses, control modules and coding - 2-3K (assuming it can be done)

you are absolutely F'ed if bmw moves the ecus to secure coding and issues a programming recall that wipes the car back to stock for a safety or emissions issue.
