We have recently moved to Houston.I was wondering if any Houston members have an independent mechanic/shop that they trust and would recommend.
Also does any particular dealer service department stand out?

BMW of N Houston and BMW of the Woodlands are both AutoNation dealers, I’ve purchased from both and had service from both. Their service at both is terrible. God awful.

I wish I lived closer to a different one but I don’t.

Realize that’s not helpful for where TO go, but it’s hopefully a useful caution.

You might try benzshops.com -- many indys work on several Euro brands to keep their shops full. (Once you have a set of metric wrenches, why not?)

BMW Houston North. You only want the Master tech, Richard Johnson. He is well known in the Houston BMW scene as a go to guy.

J&T Automotive. Very convenient to the Memorial area of Houston. Excellent work on foreign cars including BMW & Mercedes (but not Porsche). Have used them for years on German vehicles.
