not to wash it or prep it. The detailer that installs the PPF will do this

Could you share where you're going to PPF it? My e50 was "stuck" at the customs beginning of this week so I suppose it should arrive soon (wasn't impacted by Idalia) and I'm checking PPF options as prices vary a lot.

Some say it is and others will argue it isn't. I don't have it on my X5 but have the front done on my M340i and think it is worth it so I don't see stone chips. I will be getting at least the bumper and hood done on my next one.

To be honest I doubted between Two companies: Pole position (Lauwe) & Lucid (Bruges)

Lucid being a tad cheaper. It is a gamble, they are getting nice cars in and good reviews. Poleposition is a more known name around here. But still the difference was a few 100 euro.

I al going for the Full Front pack:

2.820,00 btw excl

Full front being:

Front bumper
- Grill
- headlights
- Hood
- Mirror caps
- A-pillar and front of the roof

It’s a gamble but in my opionion, the panels are at least protected from a lot. the o ly gamble is the finish this company does.

Rabbit his car went green and I still have a STOP code on AT website. So I'm not convinced that my car is cleared.

I had the stopcode as well but it went away when it went green. Now it just states that there are no recalls.
I think the STOP code was for a knee airbag replacement?

I've also asked not to prep or clean it and will put full PPF on it obviously.

Sales rep contacted me today. My car has been inspected on Friday but it's not cleared which doesn't mean much good.

Just got a message from my dealer that the car has not yet been inspected .. but more and more cars are getting cleared know and that BMW expect to have all cars inspected before week 50/12...
