Driving the Ioniq 5 N all day today. This may be one of the most interesting cars I’ve driven in a long time…

I dunno it's very busy aesthetically, but I get where you're coming from. I absolutely love my R1S quad. But, I also like variety and jumping into the ///M for the scalpel handling. The Rivian makes the ICE motor and DCT feel completely stupid and slow while the ///M makes the Rivian feel like a tank trying to maneuver a circuit.

Local dealer just took this in on trade today. Most of you don’t know, but my favorite BMWs have always been the ragtop Roadsters. My Z3/4 ///M Roadster we’re my favorite all time cars. This is a 23 with 8k miles in my dream combo, purple/white interior. Looks perfect except for scuffs on chin. They couldn’t give me a price, but will contact me Monday. I cannot physically fit in Boxsters, so these are my best choice. It’s not a 6MT, so price will need to be very very good. I’ve always liked the new Z4 though.

I think the G29 40i is a hidden gem and Thundernight is a great colour for these.

Yeah, it’s a nice looking car! However one issue I’ve become aware of while looking into them, there is very little aftermarket support. It’s almost nonexistent unfortunately, that might kill the idea for me because I can’t leave cars stock. There are hardly any aftermarket parts for these cars at all.

Not sure about sticks, but not looking to spend $70k+ for one of these things. I’m a buyer at mid $50k tops maybe.

It certainly was. I was never attached to that car despite it taking 10.5 months to get and being an order. This one, in the crazy color, I actually love. There's also something superior to me about a coupe in terms of seating position and the larger door.

Will do! I still have the keys and plan on heading out for another drive with it today. So far I’ve been able to take it on my favorite backroads to really get a feel for it. But I have to say, my initial impressions are very positive. I’ll try and get up a post either tonight or tomorrow.

NickyC On top of that, the car is a mechanical sister of the Supra. Won't most of Supra's mods fit the Z4?

There are a lot of parts for the Supra so you wouldn't be lacking those. Though, Z4 is a soft top so I am going to make an educated guess some suspension parts and exhaust may not fit correctly.

I didn't know about 3D, thanks. I had just been browsing Z4 forums and the members were commenting about the lack of parts for the car. They don't even seem to have a classifieds forum over there either which is a pretty big bummer. I'll look a bit more.

The brakes on the car also look terrible, especially with the terrible sliding rear caliper. I'm a brake weirdo for as long as I can remember, and the brakes really look pretty lame on the car. I don't see any upgrade options offered.

Yea, the sliding calipers look awful. My Alpina has got M5 front calipers with 400mm discs which barely fit under a 19" wheel and that ugly tiny sliding rear caliper setup. Doesn't look cohesive at all

AP Racing Essex have a complete front and rear racing BBK actually, and still retains the parking brake function
