I don't think it's a negative for DCT, but rather a positive for 6MT. The car, transmission aside, is still epic/incredibly unique vs G...but no denying (at least in my humble opinion) that 6MT will be worth more over time. It's just a matter of scarcity value...

Agree on Misano - think it’s safe to assume the “special” CS color will command the biggest premium…and the blue / gold combo is just downright stunning and super special feeling. That said, HS with black wheels and gold CCBs had me drooling…almost went in that direction as I loved them both.

Of the 16 currently being sold, it looks like only 2 are CCBs (one manual, one DCT). Way too small of a sample to make a precise statement. But just for fun, there is a premium for CCBs, which should be expected given that it is was a premium option.

But my love affair with HS/black wheels/CCBs may eventually require a garage expansion project haha |

Random one - but I was watching some older review videos on the CS in the UK, and two of the reviewers mentioned electric / power seats as an option. Is that true? Does anyone in the US have manual seats? I haven’t seen that yet here… |

Yes but they just did the official announcement on the M4 CS…I’m assuming they’ll do something similar at some point on the M2, even if a year out from production, but I may be wrong. My gut is, folks that would wanna sell private party to swap into the ‘25 would list likely something this year. Folks that are gonna trade in will just wait of course and then those will end up at BMW dealers for sale next August.

Once I got the settings right so it didn’t fog the windscreen I was good with it. Overall the M2 CS internal in Aus was on point and with the feeling the car 👍🏽
I hope you’re enjoying the Aston 👍🏽👍🏽 I’m loving the manual T. But have a very deep spot for the M2 CS among my most special car memories. |
