Easy answer: because the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain was designed to deal with ~430hp from the factory.

Except that they do experience wheel hop and thus the aftermarket world introduced big diff brace to remedy the issue. Your lack of info doesn't make the particular issue non existent.

When you say "they" who exactly are you referring to?

- Stock F80/F82 owners?
- Stock F80/F82 with Competition Package owners?
- Stock F82 M4 GTS owners?

or

- Owners with powertrain mods where the car is vastly exceeding the power/torque it was designed to handle from the factory?

All stock variants including those with the Competition Package and GTS trims utilize the same exact rear adapter for the rear differential.

You would think that if wheel hop is a prevalent problem with stock cars including the CP and GTS cars, BMW would have introduced such a simple solution - "lockdown kit".

This is getting ridiculous. That adapter has Zero to do with the particular issue discussed. Also, "they" includes the 318i 3cyl anemic engine that also experiencing wheel hop. I never said is prevalent. Some do. Some don't. Those that do this kit eliminates the issue. oK?
