On one hand, everyone should be free to post anything at a price they are willing to part with. On the other, when seller is asking for an exceptionally astronomical amount, not justifyable by any measure, it could be seen as they are not actually having the intent of selling. At what point the post is just unnecessary pollution of the classifieds section.

On the other, when a know nothing is uneducated, or just way too lazy to look up book value, it could be seen as they are just an online troll. Because we all know how much trust to put in the “book” value lol. At this point your ad may as well be a troll post. If asking a 40k premium for a matte wrap isn’t it, I’m not sure what is. I think you'll have better luck getting bids into the low 70's on Cars and Bids. It's an enthusiast's auction site if you haven't heard of it and lots of guys actually get premiums for special edition vehicles like this one.

The OP seems to believe the hype that BMW was selling in regards to the limited edition status of this truck. The used market is proving otherwise, as nobody is coming close to his asking price.

The final word on this thread should be the fact that Hendrick BMW is selling the same “limited edition” vehicle for $69K. Hate it or love it, thems the facts.
