I don't think anyone would argue against the NA E9X being good, reliable cars.

The problem is the N54 for the most part.

The wildcard is going to be the N52 ticking issue for 325/328 cars up 2006-2008. If that issue goes unfixed and ends up causing damage, its going to be bad news for owners of those model years.
