Agree, I think it's the 610 feature being replaced with 6U3 as standard equipment. Thats why I asked for the link so we can see the details.

As per the pricing guide, 6U3 (Live Cockpit Pro) includes HUD.

Online uses more marketing speak, but the underlying 6U3 feature is the same. In short, I am 99.99% sure we will get the HUD, and I will physically triple check the vehicle once it arrives to make sure before I purchase it.

thx. the MB dealer is literally about 300 meters from BMW and I would walk away from the x7 and go over to MB for a GLS right away if no HUD

All I have read in this post so far is the HUD is included. One person has posted a dealer said no HUD but nothing backing that up so far.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure I would rely on that information, the pics don't reflect the current LCI. The new 6U3 part number is still showing on my order and in the past when they delete a part it will show in the system. All systems indicate it's included, although with a different part number.

I also got a credit for deleted parts (order from last year, 2 parts were deleted) which showed on my dealer print out, again nothing showing at this time.

We all hope you're right! It makes no sense to me that BMW will delete it...

The point is HUD was available in the 2023 model...yet that Canadian site is saying that it is not available for the 2024 model...so they are definitely referring to the 2024 model. In addition, according to rjabend 3 dealers and Genius all said that at the beginning it will not be available for the 2024 X7.

We shall see...

Thanks, I just called BMW and they confirmed nothing deleted or credited to my account and they see 6U3 and it says HUD on his system. He said all systems go!

Thanks Brigitte! Unfortunately, the CA info you posted seems pretty explicit in saying NO HUD. I am going to wait until I see an authoritative call from either 5and7 or BMW (Not Genius).

Saw this thread elsewhere about changes to HUD for 25. Figured I’d share here. Not directly relevant to ‘is hud still in early ‘24s or not’, though may be of interest to some.

how do someone order these items as add on options? not that I need those but curious since I cant see that in the order page as available options. Does these comes as standard for all builds?

You ask your SA to add with other options. In some markets it's standard equipment in others you add as options. They can also add accessories.

Are these added on now as part of our build or are these added to your purchase after the car has been delivered to the dealership? Will cars picked up through PCD have the option to have wheel locks installed?
