Anyone know of any professional installers in Dallas that do a great job to conceal a hardwired V1 and possibly "parking sensors"?

I'm also going to be keeping the front license plate off. I've had mine off for about 3 years now. I was pulled over once and had a cop tell me that it was currently okay to have it off (like the article stated), but they were fixing it soon. That was probably about a year ago. I've been good sense then though.

Also considering getting a motorized license plate bracket that I can just toggle if i'm being pulled over

I just called my SA and he sees it already on a ship called the MICHIGAN HIGHWAY which isn't even on the list from the link to the shipping website I previously posted on this thread. He has everything, my Bill of lading number, the ship name, the date it arrives in the US (July 11th).

I'm on effin' cloud 9 million right now, my baby lands in Charleston July 11th!!!!!!!!!

Also, the Austin dealership just received its demo M3 and M4s yesterday and I am scheduled to take the M4 out for a test drive tomorrow morning... Pictures and video pending.

I've been stopped twice in the last year in TX for no front plate on separate cars. Warnings both times, but enough for a check stop. If you tend to ride dirty, less than sober, or with outdated reg/inspection put a front plate on that car.

Did you read after next year no more separate inspection stickers? Check's still happen but it's part of the registration process now, have to get checked out before you'll get reg.

We leave tomorrow for Munich and ED, can't happen soon enough.

BMW CCA has a chapter that includes Austin and basically all of Central Texas. Tejas Chapter currently has 1100 members - website www.tejaschapter.org

I was 3rd in line for the allocations given to BMW of Austin so that's why mine is on a ship!!

I ordered January 15th!!! Or was put on a waiting list that date anyway. I have been very patient, waiting long and hard for my baby to get in the door. Now the only thing stopping her from getting off the boat and to me is a goddamn Category 1 hurricane called Arthur!!!!!!

I went on the list on February 23rd - they didn't call me for my order until April 2nd.

I did that, and he came back to me telling me that I was #3 on the list now and a part of the first allocation. He said that there were too many people on the waiting list that were humming and hawing and hesitating and not sure and he walked into the general manager's office with my build printout and said "I have a guy who knows exactly what he wants, can you let him through" and they said yes and the rest is history!!!!!!

My SA is, needless to say, freakin' awesome.

That is pretty awesome! I happened to walk in and they told me they only had one more production slot available. I was #12. Mine is supposed to go into production late july or early august I was just told. Not bad, considering i placed the order june 17th!

My SA said the same thing - called me and said that too many people were dragging their feet and if I gave him my specs right then he would order my car - so, I did and he did!
