In addition to the 10% off MSRP I'm getting the Penfed incentive of $3250. I'm also eligible for the $1,000 corporate sales incentive. Planning to finance the whole thing with penfed for 72 months at 2.49%. I do currently own a 2016 528i but I don't think there is a loyalty incentive for the west coast. |

I do have a snag. The dealer is telling me I can't combine Penfed with the corporate rebate. I will call BMW corporate tomorrow and validate that. |

But something interesting, that I'll start a dedicated thread about, USAA is ending their Car Buying service, and Bonus Cash, next week on Sep 30th. For those that aren't also with PenFed, get it while you can! |

Hmmmm, this doesn't sound right. Yes, not all incentives will stack. But incentives are corporate programs, not dealer specific. That's why you can negotiate the final price of a vehicle with a dealer, before you add on incentives.

Had a great experience dealing with E92Mthusiast (Ian Long at Century BMW in Greenville SC) Ordered a new X7 build, and it was built and delivered in less than 3 weeks! Being only a few miles away from the factory probably didn't hurt. Having bought about 20 new vehicles over the years, this was one of the smoothest experiences I've had. Great up front deal without haggling over price, and overall a great dealership to work with. Thanks!

To give you an idea, I purchased a 2020 40 with a sticker price of $88k+ for $75,500. But then again, I ended up purchasing the extended warranty (7yrs) and maintenance plan (5yrs) at retail argh lol.

Research
Has anyone done the research on the maint plan or extended warranty? Is it worth the upfront investment?

I always do the 5 year minimum maintenance plan. Warranty I didn't consider, I flip my cars at 5 years tops. Specially those BMW like kind of cars with all their high tech and gadgets

Thoughts/ethics on/of pitting two separate dealers pricing against each other and how best to do that if at all? Is it "wrong" to waste one person's time to get the best deal from somebody else?

You're not wasting their time. They are pros and full aware that many deals don't go through. Best is to be upfront about what you want. "Would you be able to make X car with Y options work for Z price?" And if they say yes, be ready to take it. I think what sales people hate most is them saying yes to a price and that somehow triggers you thinking you can go even lower. Do your research upfront and you will be fine.
