I am in CA as well and wondering if this system will be able to pass CA Smog. If it only removes the secondary cats, then hopefully they wont look underneath and fail visually. Since the primary cats and stock DPs intact, it will pass.

Hoping any CA owners of this system will chime in.

I agree, the stock is too quiet even with valves open. Man this setup sounds so good though. And that is through airpods. In person its gotta be that much better!

I think the stock downpipes are enough for Valvetronics V2 system. I'm running the titanium system and it's pretty bad ass. Best of both worlds imo. I paired it up with my Evolution Raceworks 200 cell catted downpipes that I bought from Mike awhile, and it sounds aggressive and throatier. But stock downpipes will give you enough volume, hide more rasp, and high pitched. Steel system is also very good, but to each his own.

Pretty sure Valvetronics will come up with more videos for the titanium system, but here is mine:

I actually prefer deeper sounding SS. Really great sound, have you disabled in car active sound - all stock +200cell? Glad to see you are using the same location to shoot all videos however I think your original video on this unit several months ago was the gold standard location and way to record, in an industrial park, just add flybys. All the sound is heard and the trees aren't absorbing it... Would like to hear the turbo spool at RPM wind down under a slow down situation would simulate a stoplight stop sign.

We have some more videos coming with the titanium. The active sound is disabled, just raw pure sound! We will work on getting more steel clips but we have been very fortunate that many great enthusiast have already purchased the system, so I'm sure they can chime in this thread with how good it is in person! Hopefully they have videos as well

Sounds really good! I have been toying with idea to change my bone stock F83 exhaust. Only thing that I’m kinda skeptical about is the single pipe after the H pipe.. Just doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing underneath..

Dont let aesthetics discourage you from having your F83 sound incredible. Not that form isn't vital but when it comes to sound, Function > Form.

I have this system on my m3cs and it’s quite when you want it to be and very aggressive when you want it to be…on the cs I would say the burbles are just a bit too much in sport plus though, might have to look into toning that down a touch but other than that very happy with it.
