Was finally able to code ASS memory on my G05 using esys and launcher pro 3.5.1
However, when reading coding data for bdc_body3 from cafd 00007083 to code default driving mode, I get a “no coding data available” error. All the other CAFD’s read just fine from this ECU. Is this due to mapping problems in launcher pro, or something related to being a G05? I am on software 1907.40. Was in diagnostic mode at the time I got the error. |

Hoping jokinawa or Almaretto might have an idea why this is happening to me on my 330i (G20) (I've been following/lurking over here!):
I've been testing the beta of Bimmercode as he had incorporated the DKOMBI4 (HU_MGU) adjustments to the HUD and instrument cluster. The other day I tried switching to the M layout, as well as the Alpina layout. I decided that I didn't like either, and restored the backup coding to the original. So I noticed today that I cannot see navigation in my HUD now -- only in the digital instrument cluster. I've tried rebooting/recoding, etc.. I can't get it back. Any idea what might need to be flipped in the coding to restore that functionality? The HUD is working with SLI as well as the infotainment. I do have Esys (I'm far from an expert using it -- and I've not used it on the G platform yet)... So if I end up having to go that route, I should be able to repair. Appreciate any input!! Thanks! |

But, E-sys should be able to reset ECU to factory values. |

I need to read a little more before jumping into resetting factory values on Esys. I've been emailing with Stephan the developer of Bimmercode, and he has looked at my logs, and they appear identical prior to coding. I'm going to try to disconnect power to the car and see if it reboots everything after 15-30 minutes.

Can someone verify with me if your car shows navigation directions in both the digital instrument cluster and the HUD?
I'm asking because in a coding mishap I mentioned above, I lost the navigation directions in the HUD, and they were showing down in the instrument cluster only. I factory reset the car — and now I'm getting them in both places. The problem is, I can't remember if it did that before! It just seems redundant. There isn't an option to turn it off in the iDrive. (The HUD has an option to turn it on/off.) Thanks in advance for your help!! |

Ah streaming. That's cool. Where is the source playing from, the front head unit and playing on all 3 screens or from the back? Can you play two different sources front and back? And can you play two separate sources in the back (left and right screen)? I always wanted the rear entertainment package on my cars and never got it. |
