The penfed rebate only applies to 2020-2021 cars. When your on Penfed's True Car website to get the rebate code if you change the model year to 2022 then link for the rebate goes away. The only reason I found this is out is because my dealership tried to apply the rebate and they were unable to since my order is for a 22.

You need to generate a code on day 61+. Link here: https://penfed.truecar.com/oem/landing/bmw/ You can get one code per year. Once you generate it, every time you visit the above URL it will show your code. It will also be in the email sent to you. You just need to print the form the take it to the dealer. To generate the code at the above link click where it says "sign in to get your offer code" at the top |

haha are you located in NY. i went to 6 dealers in the area and 2 on the phone. Everytime I mention the authorization code for Costco, they said the x7 doesn't qualify. Then I asked, OK let me see the price for an x5. Doesnt qualify. X3? Nope...well to be honest, it doesn't qualify because of the shortage and there is a high demand and we are selling at MSRP or over. FML! also spoke to costco about this, and they said unfortunately there is nothing they can do in these times. |

Yes, shortage is the most effective card they play to offer you no discount or above msrp. I called many dealers, including my bmw dealer friend in NC, no luck at all, except one dealer at local offer discount. On the Costco program sheet, M50i was excluded, so I started with x40i, then made change to M50i, they offered same discount. |

No Discount or Cars Long Island NY
Went to 3 dealers on LI and not one had an allocation for production left. They basically want me to put a down payment on a car that does not exist, nor is slated for production. Does this seem right? Am I taking a chance that more features get removed like Harmon Kardon systems went away?

Asked a few dealers near me(NJ NY) and none of them respects the penfed promotion. I've been talking with a dealer and he couldn't get an allocation for past 3 weeks already.

That is what I'm seeing on BMW USA, but one dealer tried to tell me that at build in their system they are able to build with HK sound. But a car for 80k plus with generic sound is BS....Test Drove a MY22 X7 with "HiFi" sound it was not impressive!!!

Looks like the deal through Penfed is not applicable if you finance through BMW. Thats the fine print on Penfeds website, anyone else been abloe to use BMW FS 1.9% plus the penfed offer?

Then again, PenFed has 0.99% (if using their auto buying service) and 1.99% (if refinancing a new car) for 60 months so it's not like you're losing out. Also many credit unions have rates around 2%. |
