Love that this can handle snow, carve corners ( relatively speaking) and be really spacious and luxurious

Also compared to a X6M and GLE63s or RSQ8 1 . I can’t afford the other three lol 2. Most importantly my oldest son is now 6’5 and my youngest is 12 but already 5’10 so they don’t fit well in the other 3 . The extra room in the interior is a big deal for me. I prefer a large 2 row suv over a medium space 3 row ( not to mention I don’t need a 3rd row like an Alpina) |

Thanks man! I fall in love with it more and more every time I walk up to it. On occasion, I get the urge to take an impromptu photo just like yesterday when I was leaving Petsmart.

I thought the XM was hideous upon release but it's like the E60, it has grown on me. Have to swing by a dealer to take a gander.
For XM owners, does the Rear Seat Recline |

How is the angle of the rear seats....
That's my biggest gripe right now with the G05. I ticked all the boxes and it wasn't on my radar until after the fact.....dang seats don't recline (comfort seats) and they are too dang straight vert for comfort anything longer than 20-30 minutes of sitting there. Kiddo's don't notice it *yet* |

Indeed. I was aware of the curve and was thinking comfort was potentially optimized in design as such already.

I can take some detailed pictures of my backseat if you think that would be helpful. Whenever my dad gets in the car, he insists on sitting in the back seat if that tells you anything!

Appreciate it but I think it's one of those things where I need to -feel- it for myself....
For example, on the G05, on our previous model, we had comfort so it was able to recline back and was always reclined.....the only time it was in the VERT position was when I needed the extra 4 inches for something to fit to close the bottom hatch... I was cleaning the car one day and 1st time sitting in the back seat when it was night and day on WTF....why is the back so VERT. Last edited by chefwong; 03-19-2024 at 04:54 PM.. |

Looks great. By the way, you’ll need 5% limo tint to match the rear factory privacy glass. Warning, it’s dark AF to drive at night. I put 70% on the rears which takes it to 3% VLT and 5% on the front which takes it to 2% VLT. I really really wanted it to match. And no, of course it’s not legal in my state.

The 5% is not so bad on the XM, except for the part that the side mirrors darken on their own. It would be perfect if they didn’t do that. |
