Its a mess going to Automatic Car wash with X7

Today for first time went to Automatic Carwash.
Did not do any thing may be my mistake.

The car jumped, honked multiple times stopping the wash.
After an annoying wash pulled out.

Now after wash the doors auto close when moving away from car does not work.
Even with key in hand door do not unlock until I press the key fob to unlock.

Will change the battery and see if it fixes.

Do not know in world what is going on.
Any clue??

hit the camera button, tap car wash mode, turn off automatic wipers, then go to the hand wash so your wheels don't get chewed up in the rails

Your car and I feel the same way about an automatic car wash.

And most important: Shut off the auto hold! I learned the hard way.

I'm just avoiding auto wash now cause it chewed up my X5 wheels, so I don't have any confidence in the X7 22's.

Found a touchless car wash, it's a little farther away and more inconvenient, but a $92k vehicle is just too expensive to risk it.

Take it to the dealership for a proper diagnostic?

Lol, me too when I used an auto car wash a few times this past winter . I also tried a touchless one and ended up curbing pretty bad one of my wheels on one of the side rails (a $100 repair at my local dealer, now good as new).

I only used auto car washes in the winter (my first winter in the X7). I have since "updated" my winter car washing routine come next winter when it is too cold outside to wash my X7. So I don't plan to go back to an auto car wash unless absolutely necessary. My current setup is this to wash cars in my driveway (Phase 1 at least):

I've had my X7 go through automated carwash a handful of times. I didn't do anything to it either.
Didn't have any issues whatsoever.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I hand wash mine. I trust nothing and no one
