I hit a snatch grip pr of 455 from a 4" deficit about a month ago. Towards the end of January I'm gonna try to pr on a normal deadlift if this training cycle goes as planned.

Yeah it was good fun. I usually only do Snatch grip on my rep days, but I was feeling good and was like what the hell. I definitely feel like I had a few more pounds in me. I leaned up a little so my belt was a little looser than I like. Gonna go for 3 reps next time I go heavy on those.

Cool Vids.

Nice to know there are some powerlifters on here. I myself prefer bodybuilding but squat, bench, deadlifts are my primary lifts i do routinely.

Bench: 265x1
Squat: 355x3 (below parallel, pretty much atg but more like 1.5"-2" below parallel, not 3-4") *at 3-4" i can probably get 345x1-2
Deadlift: 405x5

Height: 5'10.5
Weight: 200lbs
BF%: 12ish%

I'm working up to my first PL meet. My most recent numbers @ 190 lbs. are:
  • Raw Bench: 350 lbs. @ 1 rep
  • Raw Deadlift: 500 lbs. @ 1 rep
  • Raw Squat: 450 lbs. @ 1 rep

I'm 5'10" and my bf% is at 7-8%.

Monday night I paused a good solid single rep with 340, legal lift. Thinking of doing another meet as the state record for masters 1 is 341.7 for 198s and 336.2 for 220. Think I could have either if I wanted.

Got my first meet coming up at the end of May. It's a USAPL meet, and concenitely the gym I train at is hosting it.

I just hit a deficit deadlift pr last week. Now I'm gonna start pulling from the floor again in preparation for the meet. Everything is feeling pretty good. I've also begun to cut some volume in order to start building my peak.

First time using nose tork as well

Just did my first meet on saturday. I had a good time. Our team won 1st place, and I won second place in the 220 class. I weighed in at 202 so I have a lot of room grow. nothing but good things to come. I kept all my weights conservative since this was my first meet. my goal was to go 9/9. I ended up going 8/9. my last deadlift I got 2 white lights, then a judge changed their mind and called me for hitching. I saw a lot of lifters with a lot more bar movement than I had, but whatever. Next time I'll just come out and smash it.
