Strange Phenomenon
I purchased hot coffee at a well-known coffee shop. The lid popped off when I returned to my X7, and hot coffee spilled on the center console. It caused the simulated wood layer to bubble up along the outer edge on the driver's side. It took months, but the layer settled back on the metal surface. I got a quote on replacing the latter when it happened for
$1600. Seems like it should have been $16 It also turns out that the problem with the lids not fitting properly is pretty widespread with this company. Just an FYI. |

Looks like the part is around $400. Weird they quoted you 1600$ thats too much labor. Regarding coffee lids, yea I learned my lesson the hard way a while ago not to pull them from the lid. btw what coffee company is this so we are more careful? no point in keeping them anonymous lol
