If you want to get completely ripped off sure.

See here, and that's for the f'ng keycase !!! http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1254320

Their response to my comments were absolute BS too - basically they say it is what it is, you can pay it if you want it in Canada or ship to someone in the US and go pick it up. At no point was an offer made to provide adequate shipping arrangements.

jtodd, did you go with gloss black or matte black?
Gloss. Surrounds were a perfect match with the existing insides. You won't be disappointed.

ahh...that sucks. Never seen too many good car part sites within Canada and we always get shafted on shipping from the US. Doesn't matter if it's car parts, or anything else. Shipping always kills the deal for us. Thanks for the info.

I don't live in Canada, it, for what it's worth, they treated me great. Great products, great value, great service. I would work with them to get a custom quote to Canada before deciding. Just my 2c.

I got this grille from iND! Never had a bad experience and several of my friends go there for parts.

Was just going to ask this myself. The F22 M Performance black kidney are so much cheaper than the F87! I suppose it's the ///M tax

You can also do this entirely from the front using a plastic hook tool that you utilise for the clips.
I have only seen it, never done it myself (i did as the instruction tell you)
Cheers

Anyone?
Single slat vs. double M slats + M2 badge = $200+

Be thankful there's a less expensive alternative.

I should reiterate, is the M Performance F22 black kidney surround the same as the M2 M Performance F87 black kidney surround?

Yes, we sell the F22 surrounds as a cheaper alternative to the full grille sets

I noticed there is an AW option. Does anyone have any pics of AW surrounds on AW? Sounds awful but really curious.

I didn't have the correct torx head and got impatient. I did this entirely from the front with my hands.

Was able to get the right grill out with just my fingers. I have pretty long fingers but thin hands, and was able to slip my knuckles past the grill slats. Starting along the lateral side and moving towards the midline, got the clips off using my middle finger. I used the F22 grill as a "road map" to see where each clip would be, and planned my hand position accordingly.

Be sure to gently pull outward with the other hand to prevent the clips from re-engaging.

This took about 30 minutes of struggling. Once the right grill was out, the left grill took about 30 seconds.

So if you or a friend has long, skinny fingers, you may be able to do it without loosening the bumper cover.

Also for those trying to save $$$, the correct part numbers for the black grill surrounds from the F22:
51712336815
51712336816

Just use the gloss black surrounds for the 235. it's the exact same part, and you can buy it for about $140 Canadian from the dealership...that's what I did
