Turning off the x7

When turning off the x7 iDrive continues to stay on and if you press the start stop button once it will return to wherever you were previously. When in this mode, how do you turn everything off without existing? When you exit everything shuts down.

Turning off the x7

That only mutes iDrive. What I'm really looking to do is shutdown iDrive and all else, the equivalent to what happens when exiting the vehicle.

You can code it to shut off idrive when you open the drivers door.

You have to change that though settings.
Settings
Doors/vehicle access
Unselect "turn off vehicle after opening door"

Then you can push the engine start stop button a second time to shut Idrive down rather than opening the door.

It does this now without coding, at least mine does.

Yeah I'm trying to see if there's a way to shutdown things while sitting in the car. I guess not.
