Here is my local customer coded to default start at sport individual and with my lowering link.
With that, default height is stock loading height.

This one is a picture of another local customer with same setup, but picture taken with new loading height.

BTW, my lowering links are in stock now. PM if you are interested.

Thanks! Are the lowering links just one set height or are they adjustable? I assume they’re as simple to install as the rear self leveling on x5m for example?

They are adjustable.

Yes, similar as F85 X5M.
The only difference, BMW uses plastic ball joint instead of metal one.
So, you will need to heat up the stock plastic link and carefully remove it.
Otherwise, you have higher chance to snap the ball joint.
I am still working on the fix. I manage to figure out for the front.
Just need to spend time figuring out the rear.

Thanks for the reply! Doesn’t sound like something I would want to do myself and only have me to blame if I mess it up
Do you see any reason why it can’t be coded to be at parked height while driving with stock links? I assume everything CAN be coded it’s just a matter of demand and time.

I have the following:
- VIM
- open and close trunk with remote
- open and close windows with remote
- no audible chime when locking the car from outside while the engine is on
- open and close side mirrors with remote
- default start in Sport mode with engine off button off
- other options available but not coded - delete seat belt chime, cameras on while driving, emergency breaking lights European style.

I haven't look deep into the coding lines because I don't have any BMW with air suspension.

Next year when I finished with one lease, I may pick up a G05 with air suspension.

I think this can be done without Bimmercode App.

Has the 2020 modules opened up at all? I saw a post where someone only had two to chose from.

Not on the March 2020 software. But if you have a 2020 car with 2019 software, it's open.

The March 2020 just came out. Probably yes, but it's possible you have the Nov 2019.

Is there any sort of consensus on which OBD device is best to use with Bimmercode? I looked on the website, and they have several listed, but I am unsure whether the first on the list—which I have seen previously as recommended by someone on the forum—is sold in the US? On their website they had prices listed in pounds...?

Not sure about Bimmercode, but haven't dig deep into the lines with E-Sys.

Here is a link to the supported coding functions in Bimmercode for the X7 and I don't see anything about lower the height when parking. However, I agree it would be a valuable option.

hi guys..

i was able to code the following:
Auto Start Stop safe (ASS)
VIM (Video in motion)
5 signals
layout
ASSISTED DRIVE (thru expert mode)

I was able to code engine sound option, remote start but they don't function properly. hope we can find a solution soon.

that's what i recall doing thru Bimmercode which i believe is a great app for safe coding, specially for starters.

stay safe..
