Bring the diesels to the US. It would be best if it is a diesel hybrid! I dream on...

Zoom in and you'll see a smaller pipe inside the big one. Not real in my book

Mate, just because there is an even worse way to do it (and even on very expensive cars) the small pipe dangling in a massive squared pipe is still a joke and yes - it's fake! Trying to make it look like it has massive chrome pipes when it's small straws is fake.

And it's like they don't even try to hide it anymore. Take a look at this awful Volvo pipe (and it blows my mind that all these brands at the same time makes perfectly beautiful round pipes, but the fake systems are optional extras)

I agree with you but at least we haven't gone full Audi with the completely fake exhaust tips drawn onto the bumper for no reason.

Yes, this "exhaust tip" is completely filled with black plastic and the actual exhaust dumps down under the bumper.

Yeah and the Merc C class has the same - really really bad design

Nope. 7 series don't get a M version, despite seemingly all others getting an M\\ plastered on it somewhere.

*purely speculation with no actual factual support.

If it's the best version then why wouldn't there be an m version.....

This fake Audi "exhaust tip" is likely the one used by VAG vehicles for emissions testing! And, thanks to VAG and their f#%*ing stupidity, all the X7 reviews seem to indicate BMW won't offer a diesel X7 in the US.

Your mileage may vary, but I don't equate largest with best. To date, the 7er (best?) has not had an M\\ version to my knowledge.

At first I just noticed the camo on the top portion of the grill. Then I realized they also have the individual slats wrapped on the bottom as well. They have a solid 4in of grill hiding. They know the concept got hate at the auto show by journalist. BMW is slow rolling the huge grill out in public.

According to top gear.com review
"It's a decent chunk bigger than an X5, a touch bigger than a Range Rover (though not quite as massive as a Merc GLS), and can seat up to seven people in leathery, technological comfort."

One of the engineers in the original posted video slipped and said the X7 is 5.1 meters which is about 201". The current gen GLS is 202".
