Agreed.. no thanks to #stinkyVag

To be confirmed, since the X7 Concept is officially only 5.02m long, while given height and width seem to be identical to the Concept. Even 5.10m is short for this segment. Either way I wouldn't bet against a long wheelbase version, at least for certain markets.

Nope. 7 series don't get a M version, despite seemingly all others getting an M\\ plastered on it somewhere.

*purely speculation with no actual factual support.
If it's the best version then why wouldn't there be an m version.....
Your mileage may vary, but I don't equate largest with best. To date, the 7er (best?) has not had an M\\ version to my knowledge.
Thanks for pointing that out. Big mistake to not have an m7

So to be clear, is the G05 X5 slated to be released after the new X7 or the other way around?

According to ynguldyn ,MY19 GO5 X5 production is starting in August 2018,so it should be avaiable this fall.He hasn't confirmed when X7 production will start, only that it will be a MY19 model.

Length of the X7 is in between The Range Rover SWB/LWB (4999mm and 5199mm respectively). X7L is an almost guaranteed no. X8 with 4 place seating (rear seats moved aft to provide more leg room) and a roofline similar to the X2/Cullinan is what to expect.

Great video. First one I've seen discussing the 2nd row like that, how it can shift forward and back to put legroom into the 2nd or 3rd row seats.

Me, I'm interested in the X7 for 2 primary reasons that seem strange, but are important at this point in my life:
(1) seating height, getting in and out of the vehicle. The adjustable suspension seems to make that even better. And
(2) second row legroom for the family. The X5 just doesn't have enough for teenagers for long, comfortable drives.

I don't need a 3rd row, so I hope those back seats are removable.

Looks like BMW is still masking off at least the top of the grills to hide they're oversized alcoholic kidneys. I still fear the final production look, on the street.

I notice in the first review linked in the list, they specifically mention that there will be an actual spare tire. None of the other reviews mention this.

Has anyone else heard any chatter about this elsewhere?

This is EXTREMELY important for my family, run-flat tires or not...
